1960 

Our club was formed on 7th November at an open meeting at the Horse & Groom (now the Horse & Jockey) which was attended by 34 people and was first called Tylers Green & District Lawn Tennis Club.

1961

The courts (2 hard courts) were almost complete by the October of this year. The first pavilion (more like a hut apparently!) arrived in 1963. 

​1990

Three new courts were finally created after many years of discussions with the local council.

​1997

Another long battle with the planners for the long awaited arrival of floodlights.

​2009

The fourth court is agreed.

​2017

The three main courts are resurfaced in October with Tiger Turf, and all enjoy the lovely new surface!
