Junior Leagues
As the Plumpton Junior Section goes from strength to strength, we have entered three teams into the Sussex LTA Junior Summer League for the first time. Our U14 and U16 boys squads play in Division 2 which involves singles and doubles matches at weekends throughout the summer. Matches are open to all junior members of the club, and we are always keen to hear from players who would like to try some more competitive tennis. Division 2 is approximately Grade 5 LTA level tennis, and we work with the team captains from the other teams in the league to try to make sure that matches are as balanced as possible. There is also flexibility for new players to start with a few doubles games before moving into singles if that suits them better. And for the first time we are entering an U12 Girls team into the Sussex league. Going forward it would be great to hear from any girls who would be interested in representing the club.
