Plumpton Ladies Team is an easy going friendly team that plays doubles in the Sussex LTA League at the weekends during the Summer and Winter.  We are always looking for new players to join in. Anybody that has come along to a club session on Wednesdays or Sundays and held their own will be of sufficient ability, so please don’t hold back! And please note that you don't have to play in all the matches, your commitment to play can be tailored to your availability.

A team of 4 people from the squad, organised by the Captain, plays doubles matches against other clubs mostly in the E Sussex area. Each match consists of the best of 2 full sets and a championship tiebreak if required with each pair playing two matches each. The Captain also decides the pairings. The start time is normally 10.30 with a finish usually in the early afternoon. Lunch is provided by our hosts for away matches and our team works together to provide the lunch for our home games. The team often travels together to away matches in one car but this of course is optional.

The emphasis is on fun but of course we like to win!
