Plumpton Men's Team plays doubles in the Sussex LTA League at the weekends during the Summer and Winter.  We are always looking for new players to join in. Anybody who is interested in taking part can come along to our Monday evening team training session 6.30-8.00pm (term time only) or Tuesday evening 7:30 to 8:30pm (term time only)- contact Dave or Piers for more details and to be added to the team's WhatsApp group. The team is selected by Captains Dave Collett and Piers Heagerty from those attending and being willing and available to play in the team. Please note that you don't have to play in all the matches across the summer, your commitment to play can be tailored to your availability.

A team of 4 people from the squad, organised by the Captains, Dave Collett and Piers Heagerty, plays doubles matches against other clubs mostly in the E Sussex area. Each match consists of the best of 2 full sets and a championship tiebreak if required with each pair playing two matches each. The Captains also decide the pairings. The start time is normally 10.30 with a finish usually in the early afternoon. Lunch is provided by our hosts for away matches and our team works together to provide the lunch for our home games. The team often travels together to away matches in one car but this of course is optional.

We would encourage any man that is interested in competitive tennis to come forward and give it a try.
