Here is a little more about Chrissie:

Who is your favourite player and why ?

“I have a few: Lendl from when I was growing up – he really moved the game to a different level, Federer – he’s just perfect !"

Away from the courts at Reed’s what are you most likely to be doing ?

“Playing tennis, watching tennis or with my family.”

What other sports do you play or would you like to play ?

“I played all sports growing up, I especially enjoyed my hockey alongside my tennis. I’m keen to try padel and golf although I may need to improve my patience for golf. “

Why do you think tennis is the best sport ?

“Everyone can enjoy playing whatever standard and whatever age. Tennis is a social game and challenges you physically, mentally and tactically - you never stop learning.

I love the scoring system and that even if you are losing you can win from match point down - never give up ! “
