Before Booking - Create your LTA Advantage Play account

Instructions on how to create your Advantage Play account were provided with your Welcome Email when you joined the club.
Once registered, those members that are affiliated to Rhondda Lawn Tennis Club through their LTA Advantage Play Username (not Clubspark email address) will see "FREE" in the booking slots.

Floodlights
- Floodlights will be activated 15 minutes before the booking start time and remain on until 8 minutes after the session.
- With floodlit bookings, if you leave before the end of your booking time, please cancel your booking as this will switch off the floodlights about 8 minutes later and consequently save electricity.

- There will be a charge allocated to the guest of £5 per hour for the booking which the member pays when booking the court. This will ensure all guests pay for utilising the courts and helps the club monitor court usage.

After Booking
- On completion of your booking, you will be sent an email booking confirmation to your Clubspark registered email address which will include your SmartAccess Gate PIN Code.
- The code will only allow you access to the courts up to 15 minutes before and during the date and time of your booking.
- If, on booking, you find that you are no longer able to play, please cancel your booking so that others may use the courts. Failure to cancel booking on unused courts may result in booking rights of the member concerned being temporary suspended.
Codes of Conduct
It is the responsibility of the person booking the court to ensure that the conduct and behaviour of all participants on their booking is appropriate and courteous at all times.
This includes the following rules and points of etiquette:
- Do not walk behind players whilst they are playing a point on the court.
- Please wait until their point has completed before quickly crossing at the back of the courts.
- At Mix-In Nights (Wednesdays) players must rotate as instructed by the coach or volunteer running the session
- On Club Nights (Tuesdays and Thursdays) members are expected to give way to other members waiting after playing a maximum of ONE SET to enable everyone to play. This is to encourage inclusion.
- At all other times when a person books the courts for a tennis session, players are not obligated to give way to any other players who wishes to use the court they have booked until their booked session has ended. However, as we are a social club that encourages inclusion, members are encouraged to invite others to join in their booking at their discretion, especially if no other courts are available.
- Any inappropriate actions or damage to club property will be dealt with severely, with future bookings of the responsible member refused, and/or termination of their membership.
- In severe cases (e.g. vandalism resulting in damage to property such as nets, fencing or court surfaces, gates or floodlights) the club will not hesitate to prosecute to recover any losses incurred as a result of those actions.
