I have been an active club member for around 23 years and in the past been Men’s and Mixed team Captain. I am a chartered Accountant and over the past 21 years have built a sustainable private equity firm as founder and CEO. My aim is to ensure the club is friendly, welcoming and collaborative, encouraging participation in tennis at all levels. 

Treasurer – Emma Sibley

I previously worked as a chartered accountant at E&Y then Diageo. I started taking tennis lessons during covid, when I wasn't allowed to play netball. I enjoy the challenge of learning something new, but also love being able to play at the social sessions alongside my son, Euan and husband, Earl. My lessons are continuing and I finally braved playing some "real" league matches this year. I still have a lot to learn and practise, but maybe it really is possible to teach an old dog new tricks!

Club Secretary - Camilla Gorham

I have been a midwife for over 9 years and coordinate a busy labour ward. Outside of work I love being active and playing sports. I started playing tennis when I joined the club in 2021 and loved the friendly and welcoming feel I got from the first club night I came to. I enjoy coming to weekly club night and first friday tournament both for the tennis and for the social side, as well as playing matches for the club. I am the 2nd Mixed Team Captain in the Berkshire League.

Membership Secretary – Jenny O'Neill

A businesswomen, with my own Medical Aesthetics Clinic, I’ve been a member of Riseley Tennis Club for about 25 years and joined with a crowd of people from a previous club, Kirton’s Farm. I’ve made many new friends too and have enjoyed both the tennis and the social side. A previous Ladies Captain and Social Secretary I’m keen now, as Membership Secretary, to create a socially vibrant club that welcomes all, is inclusive to all members, and to help actively manage the club to identify and satisfy the wishes of our members as well as helping to create financial stability and ensure that the club is sustainable for the future years.

I have lived in Riseley all of my life and have been a member of the club since the beginning, I am looking forward to working with  the committee and members on the marketing, and I look forward to seeing  you on court and socialising with you!

Welfare Officer – Sarah Quant

I joined Riseley Tennis Club in 2020 just as lockdown began. I have been a English Teacher for over 35 years and now working part time; I enjoy having  space for playing more tennis and spending time with my new granson. I am looking forward to meeting more members in my role as Welfare Officer.

I joined  the club in 2021 having recently moved to the area with my wife. I enjoy representing the club in matches as well as having fun at club nights and social events. I captain 2nd Men’s teams in Berkshire and Basingstoke Leagues. Looking forward to seeing you at the bar!

I’ve been a member of this club for 16 years. I’m a tradesman of 21 years and plan to use these skills to maintain the club’s facilities.
