The club championships at Romsey Tennis finished recently with two new names being added to the trophy in the mens and ladies singles. 

The ladies singles was won by Alicia Martell with a walkover win over Janet Butler who had to withdraw through illness. It was the last activity at the club for Alicia for a while as she is off to university. We wish her well!

The men's singles was won by Max Smith in an epic battle against Andrew Robertson which lasted three hours. On a hot late summer's day, the match went to the wire and was won by Max in three sets: 5-7, 7-5, 6-3.
