On Friday 19th September 2025, the Forfeits delivered an unforgettable evening of live music in support of the Raise the Roof Fund for the Tennis Centre Pavilion.
The band delighted the crowd with a fantastic setlist of classic covers from the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. From ballads to energetic rock anthems, the music had people up on their feet, dancing, singing along, and enjoying the lively atmosphere. It was a night filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of socialising, as members of the community came together for a great cause.
The event also featured a raffle, generously supported by local businesses and individuals, which added to the excitement of the evening.
Thanks to the enthusiastic turnout and everyone’s generosity, a total of £1,400 was raised through the event and raffle combined. This significant contribution will go directly towards repairing the roof of the Tennis Centre Pavilion, ensuring it remains a valued facility for the community.
A huge thank you goes to The Forfeits for their brilliant performance, to The Corn Exchange for donating the venue, to all who donated raffle prizes, and most importantly, to everyone who came along, supported, and made the night such a success.
