Floodlighting and Court Booking Arrangements

Floodlights

• Tokens for the floodlights can be bought online through the Clubspark membership page ....or.... if you prefer you can buy them directly from John McGleave on Monday Club Nights - please contact him first to make sure he will be there. 
• Tokens cost £5.00 each for a one-hour slot and, when buying, these will be limited to four per member.
• Each token will illuminate one court for a single hour plus four minutes warming up time.
• Our planning permission for the lights does not allow their use after 9.30pm. If they are lit after this time, we will get complaints from neighbours and the continued use of the lights may be jeopardised. Please do not insert any tokens later than 8.20pm. If this isn’t adhered to we can have the control boxes modified to cut the lights automatically at 9.30pm, but at significant cost to the club.
• When the token runs out, the lights go completely and instantly. Take care leaving the court and collecting your belongings.

Club nights will continue on Monday nights throughout the autumn and winter. To cover the cost of floodlights we propose to charge £1.00 per session until the clocks change, then £2.00. If weather means we don’t use much electricity, refunds will be given.

Bookings

• Due to coronavirus, booking  IS now compulsory, and all players must be recorded on the booking sheet. 
• Sport England ask us to evidence how much extra play their investment in the club has enabled, which we can show through the booking sheet. 
• Please cancel any unneeded bookings as soon as possible to open up the slot for anyone else who might be able to use it.
• Apart from club events and regular coaching sessions, bookings should not be made more than 21 days in advance.
