Club Competitions

The annual club scratch knock out competition will take place again, starting in May and culminating with the finals on Sunday 15th September 2024. All members will be offered the chance to enter in April. The experiment of having partners in the mixed doubles drawn by lot proved popular, with increased participation, and will be repeated.

Wimbledon Tickets
Clubs no longer receive tickets to ballot amongst members. Instead they invite all British Tennis Members - currently free via the LTA website - to opt in to a ballot [not the general public ballot which we can all
participate in as well].

Tennis Social Events – various tournaments and events are organised throughout the year, for all age groups. These are communicated to all members in good time, prior to each session. We plan to hold a mixed tournament on 22nd June 2024 - more details in due course. In addition our coaches organise a number of junior competitions with details announced throughout the year.

Monday evening Club Session – ongoing from the Spring to Autumn from 6.30pm (and during the winter, subject to demand - communicated via a WhatsApp group)

With effect from 26 April, we will be holding regular tennis and supper evenings on the last Friday of each month. We would encourage members interested in participating to join the RTC Social WhatsApp group, as you can use this to get confirmation of turnout, updates and any cancellations.
