Safeguarding Policy Statement

🛡️ Safeguarding at Ruskin Tennis Club

At Ruskin Tennis Club, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for everyone. We recognize our duty of care to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and adults at risk. Our safeguarding practices align with statutory responsibilities, government guidance, and LTA best practices to ensure the highest standards of safety.

📄 Our full safeguarding policy is available upon request from our Club Welfare Officer, Matthew Jones.

🔹 Our Commitment to Safeguarding

We believe that everyone, regardless of age, ability, gender identity, race, religion, or background, should:
✔️ Have a positive and enjoyable experience at our club in a safe and supportive environment.
✔️ Be protected from abuse while participating in tennis.

We acknowledge that some individuals, such as disabled children and those from ethnic minority communities, may be particularly vulnerable, and we take extra care to ensure their well-being and protection.
