29-31 Mar – cleaning (long) weekend – please sign up for a job in the clubhouse
Sat 20th Apr – opening tournament 14:00 start
Fri 17th May – American tournament 18:00 start (charity event)
Sun 30th Jun – American tournament 09:00 start (charity event)
Sat 13th Jul – mid-summer tournament and BBQ – 16:00 start
Sat 21st Sep – club finals 14:00 start (men’s and ladies’ singles and plate, mixed and mixed plate)
Sun 22nd Sep – club finals 14:00 start (men’s and ladies’ doubles and doubles plates)
Sat 28th Sep – reserve day for club finals 14:00 start
Sun 29th Sep – reserve day for club finals 14:00 start
Sun 29th Sep – handicapped winter doubles starts
Tue 8th Oct – AGM 19:00
Sat 2nd Nov – coffee Morning - 10:00 (contact Liz F to help)
Sun 22nd Dec - Xmas tournament and drinks – tennis 09:00 to 12:00 (charity event)
At the AGM it was decided that tournaments and events should be clearly marked whether funds were going to charities or club funds. The charity events are marked above.
The club’s chosen charities for 2024 are: Morecambe Food Bank and Slynedale’s Cancer Care.
We need raffle prizes for the club quiz in February (date tbc). Please bring any donations to the club house and place in the box provided. If you’re donating alcohol, please don’t leave this in the clubhouse as children have access to this space: please give your donation to a committee member. We will send a reminder closer to the time.
