Sat 2nd May – Eden’s charity event – 16:00 start
Sat 6th Jun – American tournament (charity event) – 16:00 start
Sat 4th Jul – mid-summer tournament and BBQ – 13:00 start
Sat 15th Aug – American tournament and BBQ (charity event) – 16:00 start
Fri 11th Sep – American tournament (charity event) – 18:00 start
Sat 26th Sep – club finals - 13:00 start (men’s and ladies’ singles and doubles, mixed and mixed plate)
Sun 27th Sep – club finals - 13:00 start (plate competitions)
Sat 3rd Oct – reserve day for club finals - 13:00 start
Sun 4th Oct – reserve day for club finals - 13:00 start
Mon 5th Oct – handicapped winter doubles starts
Tue 6th Oct – AGM - 19:00 start
Sat 10th Oct – End of season tournament and presentation - 16:00 start
Sat 7th Nov – coffee Morning - 10:00 (contact Liz F to help)
Sat 14th Nov – American tournament (charity event) – 13:00 start
Sun 20th Dec - Xmas tournament and drinks – tennis 10:00 to 14:00
After discussion at the AGM it was decided that the club finals dates and starting times are fixed. If you are unavailable for the finals day/s, please don’t enter the summer knockout.
Also, at the AGM it was decided that tournaments and events should be clearly marked whether funds were going to charities or club funds. The charity events are marked above. The organiser can choose the charity they would like the money from the event to support. David Bird has chosen Cancer Care for the June, August, September and November American tournaments: Eden’s charity event in May will be raising money for prostate cancer.
