2025
Day 1: men's and women's singles and men's doubles
The forecasted rain didn't appear and it was dry today but a bit chilly. In the women's singles, Amanda beat Jan in a a tense three setter with a tie break in the third set. In the men's singles, Nick beat Brendan. In the men's doubles, Martin and Nick triumphed over James and Kevin (6-4, 7-5).
Day 2: women's doubles, mixed doubles, men's doubles plate and mixed doubles plate
In the women's doubles, Jan and Hilary beat Jen and Angela. In the mixed doubles, Brendan and Angela just beat Jan and Theo in a tight three setter. The other two matches were the plate competitions with David and Theo beating Ethan and John in the men's doubles plate and Amanda and Brenda triumphing over Pat and Julie in the women's doubles plate.

2022
Hello there,
Well it started sunny and there were more people wearing sunglasses than not! It didn't finish like that as you can see from some of the photos. It was an exciting afternoon of tennis with lots of spectators enjoying the matches (at least while the sun was out). Book vouchers this year for the winners: chocolates for the runners up. Please see the photos below including some higher quality ones from John with his fancy DSLR camera.

2020
A slightly different finals day this year due to both government restrictions and a change of format. We normally ask people to sign up to the summer knockouts in January with membership fees. We decided to try something different...
Entries were gathered via the Google Group towards the end of August and the 'qualifiers' were held on consecutive weekends. We were lucky with the weather which obviously helped, but the format seemed to be a success!
