The opening day of our new courts was a busy one for men's captain James Brown, the driving force behind the project.
After playing on the courts in the morning, JIm was interviewed live on Laurence Reed's Show on Radio Cornwall in the afternoon.
He told Laurence - and his listeners - all about St Ives Tennis Club's new £100,000 synthetic clay court project - how the courts will play, how the club financed the ambitious project and why no club in Cornwall has done it before.
