This season, for the first time, we have three Men's teams in the Cornwall LTA Summer League - a reflection of the growing strength in depth of competitive players at the club - along with a Ladies team.
For a small club, we have punched above our weight in recent years. Both the Men's A and B teams were champions in their respective Cornwall Summer League divisions in 2023 with our top team achieving their ambition of reaching the Premier Division.
The A team battled hard throughout the 2024 campaign and a must-win victory in the final match of the season enabled them to retain their place in the top tier of Cornwall League tennis - a great achievement by possibly the youngest team playing at that level.
A year after winning Division Two West in 2023, Men's B narrowly finished second to Division One West champions Truro C, just missing out on promotion to the second-tier County Division.,
Our Ladies are firmly established in Division One West - the second tier of Cornwall women's tennis - following a mid-table finish in 2023.
Men's A and the Ladies teams play their home matches on Sunday afternoons, with Men's B and C on Friday evenings starting at 6.30pm. Come along and watch - all support is very welcome!
We also have one team in Tennis Cornwall's Winter League for teams of four - two men and two women. The matches consist of a men's doubles and a ladies doubles followed by two mixed doubles with the home matches taking place on Sunday afternoons.
