Stamford Tennis Club welcomed an impressive turnout at its Open Day on Saturday 25th April, as 32 non-members joined existing players for an afternoon of tennis, coaching, and community spirit.

Blessed with fantastic weather, the event showcased the club at its very best, offering a friendly yet fast-paced atmosphere for both juniors and adults keen to try the sport or rediscover their passion for it. Four qualified coaches led a series of engaging skills and drills sessions, ensuring players of all abilities had the chance to get involved, improve their game, and most importantly, have fun.

Visitors were given the opportunity to explore everything the club has to offer, from its facilities and coaching programme to its vibrant social and competitive tennis calendar. The event also provided a great chance to meet current members and experience the welcoming environment that defines the club.

Off the court, the club’s volunteers kept everyone refreshed with a selection of welcome drinks and snacks, helping to create a relaxed and sociable setting throughout the afternoon.
