Club Policies

Stepps Lawn Tennis Club (SLTC) is fully Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) accredited which means that our policies and practice conform to the standards set by the governing body for tennis in Great Britain.

The club’s Welfare Officer Dorothy Tracey (welfareofficer@steppstennis.com) is responsible for operation and monitoring of several of these policies (Safeguarding, Whistleblowing, Anti-Bullying, Health and Safety) and should be contacted with any concerns related to these policies.

SLTC is guided by the LTA on all safeguarding matters. More information about their policies and rules can be found here.

All our policies and any related material are provided in paper copy form in a Policy Folder located within the SLTC clubhouse.

Safeguarding Policy
SLTC recognises the importance and is fully committed to prioritising the wellbeing of all children and adults at risk within our club. Safeguarding all vulnerable individuals at all times is a top priority whether during clubhouse activities or during any club programmes and/or sponsored or organised events. The primary objectives of our Safeguarding Policy are to minimise risk and, by so doing, deliver a positive tennis experience for everyone. SLTC will always respond appropriately to all safeguarding concerns/disclosures, in accordance with LTA guidelines.
