Tennis
Tennis at Stirling
Stirling Lawn Tennis & Squash Club has a friendly and active tennis section, welcoming players of all ages and abilities. Whether you are new to tennis, returning after time away, looking for social games or interested in competitive team play, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.
The club has three all-weather outdoor tennis courts with floodlights, allowing members to play throughout the year. We offer regular social tennis sessions, junior tennis, coaching opportunities, internal competitions and teams competing in the Central District Leagues.
Social Tennis
Social tennis is a great way to meet other members, enjoy regular games and become part of the club community. Players can come along, mix in and play with whoever is there.
Our regular social sessions include:
- Men’s Club Night – Monday evenings from around 6:00pm
- Ladies’ Club Night – Wednesday evenings from around 6:00pm
- Over-55s Tennis – Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, 10:00am–12:00pm
Junior Tennis
We have a thriving junior tennis section, helping younger players develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment of the game. Junior players have opportunities to take part in coaching, club activities and social play as they progress.
Tennis Coaching
Tennis coaching is available at the club through Mark Walker Tennis, supporting players of different ages and abilities. Coaching can help beginners learn the basics, support juniors as they develop, and help more experienced players improve their technique and match play.
Competitions & Team Tennis
The club runs an annual Tennis Club Championships, including singles, doubles and mixed events. The competition takes place over the summer and culminates in Club Finals Day in September.
We also have a number of teams competing in the Central District Leagues, giving members the opportunity to represent the club in competitive tennis.
