Junior Tennis

Junior Tennis at Stirling

Junior tennis at Stirling Lawn Tennis & Squash Club gives young players the chance to learn, improve and enjoy the game in a friendly and supportive club environment.

We offer tennis coaching for a range of ages and abilities, including Red Ball, Orange Ball, Green Ball and Yellow Ball stages. Our coaches can help advise which level is the best starting point for each player, whether they are completely new to tennis or already developing their game.

Coaching & Player Development

Junior coaching helps players build confidence, improve technique and develop their understanding of the game. Sessions are designed to support progression at the right pace, from early racket skills through to match play and competition.

As players develop, they are encouraged to become more involved in club activities, competitions, team events and wider club life.

Junior Competitions & Teams

We encourage juniors to take part in competition when they are ready. The club runs junior competition events and also supports junior players entering local team events and league opportunities.

Junior players at the club have been involved in:

  • Monthly competition events
  • Local starter events
  • Central District League matches
  • Junior team tennis
  • Club activities and social events

Young Leaders & Club Involvement

A number of older juniors have also taken on responsibilities around the club, including supporting coaches, helping at junior sessions and assisting with club activities.

This is an important part of the club’s development pathway, helping young people build confidence, responsibility and leadership skills both on and off court.
