Find a TEAM CHALLENGE for mini and junior players

These competitions are open to players from any club and are an introdution to interclub tennis competition. Look out for the competions aimed at your own age group whether it be mini red, orange, green or full yellow ball.

Local Singles Competitions (18+)

These friendly competitive mixed singles leagues for men and women (aged 18+) are run for players of all standards.  Competitions run throughout the year and are based around the local park courts. Each competition  runs for a few weeks at a time.  You need to have an LTA Advantage membership number (FREE for Stocksbridge Tennis Club members who apply - see the LTA Advantage tab on our membership page).

The club aims provide equal access to matchplay  for all who wish to take part.

Each squad will require a minimum of 6-8 squad players for 4-player matches and 8-10 squad players for 6-player matches ensure fulfilment of our fixture committments. Occassionally, players can be borrowed from another squad (in a limited fashion), provided it is to cover a genuine squad shortage. If players are moved to cover a fixture, the captains will need to mindful of the league's rules and check that legal teams are fielded especially with regard to fair play rules please.

Thank you to those members who let the club know (in January 2023) that they would like to play  interclub matches this summer. We have entered one more team in the Works League than we did in 2022 based on those responses.
