A warm welcome to Stockton Heath Lawn Tennis Club

Our Club provides opportunities for tennis and pickleball players of all ages and abilities. We are a welcoming and inclusive Club with a strong coaching tradition and a thriving junior section.

We have a vibrant social calendar including Club and social tournaments for junior and senior players.

The Club occupies  2-3 acres with woodland around the courts and Clubhouse.  There are seven tennis courts (five with floodlights) and two separate pickleball courts.

We have some great initiatives to welcome new players, and introduce them to the Club and other members no matter what their ability.

• If you want to find playing partners, we have a Buddy System to pair you with willing members.
• We run Welcome Wednesdays, where new members are invited to play on Wednesday evenings, light and weather permitting.
• Social tennis is on Saturday afternoons when members just turn up and join-in. There are regular pickleball sessions during the week.
• We have a fantastic coaching team led by Nick Fance , with weekly squads are for all ages and abilities.

Inclusive tennis & pickleball: At SHLTC we are keen to make tennis/pickleball available to all, and are developing ways in which we can make this happen.  If you would like to explore ways in which you can enjoy tennis at the club, please contact us.

We were Cheshire's LTA Club of the Year in 2024/25 and this year we won the Bentley sponsored Tennis Opened Up Award. The Club recieved this Cheshire LTA Award in December 2025 and it recognises all the work that is done to widen participation in tennis and pickleball ~ recognising what a community based Club we are.
