A warm welcome to Stockton Heath Lawn Tennis Club

Throughout its existence, the Club has provided opportunities for tennis players of all ages and abilities to enjoy the game and develop their skills.  There is a strong coaching tradition and a thriving junior section.

We have a vibrant social calendar including club tournaments for junior and senior players.

The Club occupies  2-3 acres with woodland around the courts and Clubhouse.  Following extensive redevelopment in 2022, the two shale courts have been converted to the latest astro turf and modern floodlighting added to five of the seven courts have been installed.

We also have out of school hours, (including school holidays), access to the six floodlit courts at Bridgewater High School, three surfaced with artificial grass and three with porous macadam .

We have some great initiatives to welcome new players, and introduce them to the club and other members no matter what their ability.

• If you want to find playing partners, we have a Buddy System to pair you with willing members.
• We run Welcome Wednesdays, where new members are invited to play on Wednesday evenings, light and weather permitting.
• Social tennis is on Saturday afternoons when members just turn up and join-in.
• We have a fantastic coaching team led by Nick France , with weekly squads are  for all ages and abilities.

Inclusive tennis: At SHLTC we are keen to make tennis available to all, and are developing ways in which we can make this happen.  If you would like to explore ways in which you can enjoy tennis at the club, please contact us.
