If you are, our free taster sessions are just the ticket to get you up or down the escalator, onto the platform, aboard the train and cruising down the motorway with your paper and pencil in hand and racquets, balls, net, and lines in the hold.
Tarland Tennis Club is a one-court, community facility in the middle of Tarland village near the Green, behind the pub, five miles NW of Aboyne on Deeside, Aberdeenshire. Free parking near Tarland Green Rd/Aberdeen Rd Junction.
But that's not all....
Although probably the tennis club with the lowest profile in the country, we compensate by PLAYING ALL YEAR ROUND, so there's always someone to get the ball back from inside or outside the court.
Visitors to Tarland can play for a small fee and refundable key deposit without membership. Court key, racquets and balls are available at the Paper Shop opposite the Commercial Hotel in the Square. See map below and written directions under "Just Ask" menu at the top of this page.
