Tarland Tennis Club is a *Lawn Tennis Association-registered (LTA)* community facility in the middle of Tarland village.   Situated on  the village Green behind the pubs, it lies five miles NW of Aboyne on Deeside, Aberdeenshire.  It benefits from a backdrop featuring the charming Grampian foothills.   Viewing highly recommended.    Enjoy free parking near Tarland Green Rd/Aberdeen Rd Junction.

*LTA registration ensures we comply with all the requirements the LTA sets, including our own trained welfare officer for the protection of children and vulnerable adults and public insurance liability (except non-UK visitors!).

Do you see yourself standing hesitantly at the quayside, fretting about embarking on your tennis voyage?   Are you sitting uncomfortably at your desk with writer's block scrambling your tennis story?    Are lost car keys thwarting your dreams of driving forward with your tennis journey?

If this is you, then our free-way taster sessions are just the ticket to get you up or down the escalator, onto the platform, aboard the train and cruising down the motorway with racquets, balls, net, and lines in the hold.

But that's not all....

Although probably the tennis club with one of the lowest profiles in the country, we compensate by PLAYING ALL YEAR ROUND, so there's always someone to get the ball back from inside or outside the court.

Visitors to Tarland can play for a small fee and refundable key deposit without becoming members.    Court key, racquets and balls are available at the Paper Shop opposite the Commercial Hotel in the Square.   For directions, come to the Square and ask someone.

Location

Tarland Tennis court is situated on the Green behind the Commercial Hotel in Tarland Square.   Access is from the free car park off the B9119 on the first bend to the north of the Square.
