Chobham Academy is a mixed all-through school and sixth form which opened in September 2012 for the Olympic Games. The school is located in the East Village of Stratford in the London Borough of Newham, England. The school counts with outdoor tennis courts as well as car park, toilets and changing rooms.

ADULT BEGINNER LEVEL

This class is designed to introduce new players to the basics of tennis. Throughout the course, adults will cover groundstrokes, footwork, netplay and serve. Learn techniques, practice drills, and approaches to the game of tennis, by learning tennis fundamentals and basic skills.

ADULT BEGINNER-INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

This course is for players with some basic tennis skills, for those who have some experience in the past and would like to get back to tennis, as well as for players who can hit an oncoming ball regularly.

Days and times: 

  • Mondays | 19:00 - 20:00 | Start on Monday, 6th May | BOOK - 3 places available
  • Tuesdays | 20:00 - 21:00 | Start on Tuesday, 7th May | BOOK - 2 places available
  • Thursdays | 18:00 - 19:00 | Start on Thursday, 9th May | BOOK - 3 places availabe

 

ADULT INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

This course is for players with tennis skills who can hit an oncoming ball regularly. Here players will further develop the technical forms of their forehand, backhand, volley and serve. Players will also develop a greater understanding of the net play, footwork, court placement, and basic tactics.

ADULT INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED LEVEL

This course is for players with tennis skills who can hit an oncoming ball regularly as well as for competitive  players who want to improve their game, finding the individual natural technique and tactics for each player getting the maximum of them in a game environment.

  • Wednesdays | 18:00 - 19:00 |  Start on Wednesday, 8th May |  BOOK - 1 place available

 

ADULT ADVANCED LEVEL

This course is focused on competition. It will be an important physical and tactical part, finding the individual natural technique and tactics for each player getting the max of them in a game environment. Players will be invited to join our tennis teams in order to start competing in local tournaments.
