🎾 Our Values

We’re more than just a tennis club — we’re a community that celebrates inclusion, respect, and good vibes both on and off the court. To keep the club a space where everyone feels safe, supported, and welcome, all members agree to follow this Code of Conduct.

🫶 1. Be Kind & Respectful

• Treat all players, facilitators, and volunteers with respect.
• Support your doubles partner and opponents — we’re all here to enjoy the game.
• Encourage new or less experienced members with patience and good sportsmanship.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 2. Actively Include Others

• Make an effort to mix with different people — cliques are natural, but we want to be welcoming.
• If you notice someone standing alone or unsure where to go, introduce yourself or invite them in.
• Hosts may mix groups deliberately to promote inclusivity — please respect their direction.

💬 3. Negative Behaviours Have No Place Here

• Unwanted attention, prejudice, comments, micro-aggressions and harassment are all a huge no.
• If something feels off, speak directly to a committee member or host. We’ll listen, always.

📣 4. Communication Around Skill Levels

• Our level guidance is meant to keep sessions enjoyable and fair for all. If you’re unsure where you fit, ask a coach or committee member.
• If we need to speak to someone about their level, we’ll do so respectfully and privately.

⏰ 5. Be On Time (or Communicate If Not)

• Sessions start promptly — if you're running late or can't make it, please update your booking or let us know.
• Repeated no-shows without notice may lead to a temporary booking restriction.

🎾 6. Respect Our Spaces

• Treat venues, coaches, and equipment with care — including returning balls and respecting other players' time.
• We rotate new balls regularly — please speak to a host if you notice a need for fresh ones.

🚨 7. If You Experience or Witness Harm

• Speak to or message any committee. Alternatively email nldn_lobsters@hotmail.com
• You will be heard with care and confidentiality.
• Serious or repeated breaches may result in a temporary or permanent suspension from the club.
