Veterans' Trophy

The annual Veterans' Trophy was held on Sunday 26th September in bright and sunny conditions. The Trophy was presented to the club by the daughter of Ferrers LeMesurier, who lived in Titchmarsh and played regularly until his death aged 84. The entry conditions are that the combined age of the participating couples must exceed 84!
The event was very well supported both by players and spectators. It was particulalry gratifying to see so many new members present at the club. Thanks go to the ladies who baked delicious cakes and to Ed Frain for his excellent organisation of the event and Vanessa Ridout who welcomed everyone to the club.
