Information when using our Slingber Ball Machine

We have recently launched our Slinger Bag ball machine for member's to hire at a cost of £3 per 30 minutes. This can be booked via Clubspark. You will need access to the clubhouse using your fob in order to collect the Slinger Bag. Please get in touch if you do not have a fob as these can be purchased from the committee for £5.
The rules when using the Slinger Bag are as follows:
- Only use the Slinger Bag if you have attended an induction session on how to use it. Booking/using the ball machine without this is strictly forbidden and will likely lead to it being damaged.
- Only use the Slinger Bag when the weather is dry AND court conditions are dry. I.e. the Slinger Bag cannot be used when it is raining or when the courts are wet/damp. This can damage and inevitably break the machine. Refunds will be given if you have to cancel your booking due to bad weather. This will be automatically refunded to you if you cancel 1 hour prior to your booking.
- Only use the Slinger Bag if you have booked and paid for this through Clubspark. Make sure to book a court at the same time as booking the Slinger Bag. It is advised that either cout 1 or court 4 are booked to limit the disruption to other members using the courts.
- The Slinger Bag uses only Wilson US Open balls. Please ensure you collect and place all of these balls within the machine. Including those that may be hidden in/around on-court equipment.
- Make sure to put the Slinger Bag on charge after use. The charger will be in one of the pockets of the Slinger Bag or by the designated area within the clubhouse.
- Please report any issues with the Slinger Bag immediately to the Tennis Committee on uddingstontennis@gmail.com or via the Contact Us page.
By booking the Slinger Bag you agree to follow these rules and any Slingerbag rules stipulated on the guidance poster with the machine. Inappropriate use of the ball machine can cause injury and users accept full responsibility for any damage or injury caused to any other parties while they are in control of the ball machine.
