This morning (Friday June 13) our wonderful Coach Andy Aitken https://www.facebook.com/aatenniswltc completed his overnight 25 hour continuous walk, covering 100 kilometres and arriving right on schedule at Letcombe Tennis Club, 8.00 and then, joined by former Fitzwaryn students from his long standing Saturday group, finishing at Wantage Tennis Club for a 9.00 coaching session with Wantage CofE School.

The venture was supported by The Tim Henman Foundation @timhenmanfdn and designed to raise awareness and funds for inclusive sport and tennis. Along the way Andy visited other Oxfordshire Tennis Clubs, played Wheelchair Tennis with Lucy Henman and experienced walking with artificially impaired sight and hearing.

Andy’s achievement is unbelievable but the greatest credit goes to him for supporting such a deserving cause. Please do consider making a donation.
