Last Sunday, Wantage Tennis Club celebrated its one year anniversary.

30 adult members participated in a hard fought. Fun Handicap tournament.  After a Championship tie breaker to settle the tie breaker, Stephen Day and Steve Gardner  beat Andrew Ainslie and Maureen Burgess.

Before the junior tennis finals we enjoyed a barbecue with Pimms and Strawberries. Afterwards there was some great entertainment from the junior finalists, ably organised by Head Coach Andy Aitkin.

The picture shows winning u12 finalist Henry Brewer with his opponent Edward Draper.  In the other final Jess Hall, beat Patrick Brewer to claim the trophy.
