Doubles with Coaching

Come and join us for Adults Social Doubles coaching on Thursdays from 10:00-11:30

This is a friendly and fun group and all standards are welcome.

These sessions are organised by our LTA Level 4 accredited coach Clive Asprey.  The usual format is coaching and drills (including a few laughs) followed by a short friendly game.

Pay as you Go - £10 for non members and £8 for members

Please contact Clive if you are interested so he can add you to the Whats App chat and let you know if the sessions are cancelled etc.

Clive is also happy to offer personal coaching (Members only) - contact him for further information.

All existing West End Tennis Club members should have already registered with LTA Advantage but if not, you will need a login with the LTA to be able to book a course. When you click on Book Now, this will take you to the LTA Advantage site where you can create a login - most members should already have a login. Unfortunately, this is the new process from ClubSpark who provide all our IT services.

Please Note.

We reserve the right to cancel any course in the event of insufficient numbers or poor weather.  Refunds will be organised as necessary.

If the participant decides to cancel we need 14 days notice to be able to offer a refund.  If you cancel within 14 days refunds will be at the discretion of the committee  (and subject to being able to find another participant to take the place).

OTHER INFORMATION

We do not currently have any toilet facilities onsite although the Parish Council have placed a portable toilet in the car park next to the Sports Pavilion (the smaller building)

To minimise risk of injury all players are advised to wear proper tennis shoes, not runnng shoes or trainers.  Tennis shoes are designed to provide better foot and ankle support and have a different sole grip to everyday trainers.

Please remember that under the Club Rules Members and non-members are not permitted to run commercial coaching sessions on the Club courts without the written approval of the Committee. Members can arrange to receive coaching from a professional who is a non-member but the sessions cannot include players who are not members of the Club. Members must ensure the coach leaves the courts when the lesson is finished.
