We offer a variety of Adult Coaching sessions to make sure we meet the needs of all our players.
Our large range of coaching sessions enable players to come along and socialise at West Green Park whilst improving their skills through the use of fun drills and matchplay. Any player is welcome as we offer Tennis Xpress (beginner), Tennis Progress (Intermediate) and Tennis Advance (Advanced) sessions and we have spare rackets on hand if you come down for the first time. Any first session is free so come on down and give tennis a try.
Tennis Xpress:
A 6 week course designed for those who are new to the game or returning to the game to develop the basic tennis skills and coordination through fun and engaging point play exercises. Anyone can book in and play, no equipment needed, just a pair of trainers and the want to learn.
Tennis Progress:
A course designed for those players who have more playing experience and are able to hold a rally and construct points. These sessions focus more on matchplay and tactics for those wanting to start to play matches both recreationally or in formal competition.
Tennis Advance:
These six week blocks are for players with good tennis experience who are really looking to delve into the game in detail. These blocks have very specific topics of focus where we spend 6 weeks dissecting the technical and tactical elements of specific parts of the game to give advanced players the chance to take their game to the next level.
Racket Training:
Racket Training is a brand new product produced by our coaching team for those players looking to hit lots of balls. This session has a greater focus on hitting quantity of balls to try and put practice and volume on certain tennis skills. This differs from our other coaching sessions that maybe look to go more in depth on specifics, in these sessions you get lots of balls and lots of time to really hone those skills.
Cardio Tennis:
A session designed for any playing ability where the focus is on fitness. These sessions contain lots of hitting drills, lots of exercise and most importantly lots of music to motivate you when the going gets really tough. Using a multitude of aids including ladders, hurdles, medicine balls and weights you can be sure to get a full body work out whilst improving your hitting quality.
