13 May:- Mens 1st team, Herts County League - West Herts 6 - Townsend 3. A great opening win for the Mens 1sts. Great team performance from Dave Shann, Matt Cox, Dave Pendry, Paul O'Leary, Richard Dyer and Phil Clay. Good support from the court side despite chilly conditions.
11 May:- Mixed A, Watford & District League - West Herts 6 - Leverstock Green 3 - a fine win for the mighty 'Herts against the Green - Hira and Anca fully justifying their first pair status with 3 wins. The prize for sartorial elegance goes to Derek & Jane Walker in their matching orange gilets. Hazel and Dan were just jealous... Anyway, a good first win for the Mixed A.
