Following on from our inaugural Club meeting, we held our first Committee meeting at the White Hart on Thursday 2nd February 2017. A large group discussed and agreed a wide range of issues to get the club up and running. These included: 

1. Appointing a Treasurer (Grant Butler)
2. Agreeing classes of membership and subscription costs: adult £40, Family £80, Junior under 18 £10, Single parent and all their children £50, Pay and Play £5.
3. Approving a draft agreement to be signed with Winchcombe School
4. Agreed to open a club bank account
5. Appointed a club coach - Simon Filiatrault, who will also be on the Committee
6. Agreed to enter 2 men's teams and 1 ladies teams into the Gloucestershire Summer Leagues
7. Agreed to hold trials and practice sessions for teams
8. Agreed a draft schedule for social sessions, coaching times and days for league matches
9. Agreed booking conditions for members
10. Agreed to adopt a range of policies to cover safeguarding, diversity and inclusion, sun safety, junior code of conduct, photography. 
11. To hold another meeting on Thursday 2nd March, 7.30pm at the White Hart. 

Members will also be interested to hear that Winchcombe School has entered 3 teams into the Aegon Schools Tennis League. The Club is helping to pay for coaching for pupils and we wish them all the very best of luck.
