Ayr Lawn has lodged a formal application with South Ayrshire Council to acquire by way of a Community Asset Transfer, Seafield Tennis Courts at Arrol Drive, Ayr.  The proposal is to acquire ownership of the 2 courts and seek funding to resurface them and install an online smart access gate booking system for the benefit of club members and also the general public.  Details of the application can be found on the South Ayrshire Council website www.south-ayrshire.gov.uk under Community Asset Transfer/Current Transfer Requests.

Anyone can make representations to the Council regarding the application.  Please see the link to the consultation page here:  https://www.south-ayrshire.gov.uk/article/36396/Seafield-Tennis-Courts  but the deadline is 22nd December 2021.  It is hoped that the Council will make a decision on the application in January 2022 and the Club will inform members of the outcome.
