Pickleball is held at the ABC centre in Bakewell.

Bakewell Pickleball Group - Invite only

To join one of these groups please contact Alan McGill (sportsdevelopment@derbyshiredales.gov.uk). 

We have 2 courts (1 full size and a mini court). Each session is now open to up to 8 players per group. Please contact Alan to discuss which group to join.

  • Tuesday 12.30pm - 1.25pm (Experienced players) 
  • Tuesday 1.30pm - 2.25pm (Experienced players)
  • Tuesday 2.45pm - 3.40pm (Experienced players) 

No Pickleball sessions on Tuesdays after Bank Holidays due to Farmers Markets and staff holidays.

Cancelling a booked session:

If you need to cancel your booked session please email sportsdevelopment@derbyshiredales.gov.uk as soon as possible. A credit for the session will be applied if cancelled 24 hours before the session. Cancellations within 24 hours will be at the discretion of the council.
