Tim and Millie, our 2018 champions, are the ones to beat…

The mixed doubles club championship will take place on Sunday 12th May. This year, all the matches will be played on the same day and the winners will be crowned that afternoon. The Wimbledon Ticket Draw will also be on the same day.

Everyone is welcome regardless of ability – scoring will be weighted and partners will be assigned at random so everyone has a shot at glory (and an impressive trophy)!

Only current members can play on the day, but visitors are very welcome to spectate, so bring your friends and family to cheer you on.

To enter please let us know (sec@bamfordtennis.org.uk) by 5th May. However, if you’re not sure now but unexpectedly find yourself at a loose end on the day you’re welcome to turn up and we’ll add you in – the more people the better!

Please arrive for 10am to start play at 1030. We’ll have a lunch break to do the Wimbledon Draw at 12:30, with a BBQ in the afternoon (weather dependent!) to keep everyone going when they are cheering on the finalists! Any side/salad dishes, drinks, cakes, picnic blankets (and so on) are very welcome.
