This Spring we're pleased to be offering both junior and adult tennis coaching. Read on!

Coaching for juniors starts on Friday 3 May, organised by our regular club coach, Pete Ledbetter, and his team. It will run for 10 weeks until 12 July, breaking for half term on 31 May. Sessions are 1 hour long, and take place at the club, on Fridays after school.

The cost for 10 coaching sessions is £60 plus the appropriate annual membership fee: all players must be members of the club to participate in coaching sessions. The annual junior and child membership fees are  £25 for over 8s and £10 for under 8s (on 1 Sep 2019). The membership fee provides you with full access to the courts for a whole year as well as access to the junior tournament.

*Age groups and times are for guidance only. We would be willing to accept keen 4 year olds with potential. Final groupings will depend on numbers and individuals.

This year we are also hoping to organise some friendly matches for juniors, both within the club and against other clubs, throughout the season. This includes events to take place on our club tournament days. We are also intending to offer coaching in the summer holidays, as well the autumn term. Watch this space!

Adult coaching

TEAM: We are offering three sessions for team players - men and ladies - with a focus on doubles tactics. These will take place on the Friday evenings of 3, 10 and 17 May between 6.00pm and 7.30pm. You can attend one, two or all three. The cost depending on numbers (seven or more) will be approximately £7.50 per session.

RUSTY RACKETS: We are also offering three sessions for those that are not playing regularly and are wanting to get back into tennis and/or improve their game. These will take place on the Friday evenings of 24 May, 7 and 14 June between 6.00 pm and 7.30pm. You can attend one, two or all three. Depending on numbers (seven or more) the cost will be approximately £7.50 per session.

To ensure we have enough numbers please can you let us know if you are interested (or if you have any questions!) by emailing

By doing this you are not fully committing to attend but are indicating you are likely to attend. We need to ascertain approximate numbers before deciding to go ahead. You will pay on the day.

We will add more dates as the season progresses, depending on interest.
