This Spring we're pleased to be offering both junior and adult tennis coaching. And booking will be available online, here on this page, before Easter. Please check back soon!

Coaching for juniors starts on Friday 3 May, organised by our regular club coach, Pete Ledbetter, and his team. It will run for 10 weeks until 12 July, breaking for half term on 31 May. Sessions are 1 hour long, and take place at the club, on Fridays after school:

  • 4pm for under 10s
  • 5pm for over 10s

Age groups and times are for guidance only. Final groupings will depend on numbers and individuals.

The cost for 10 coaching sessions is £60 plus our annual junior membership fee: all players must be members of the club to participate in coaching sessions. The annual junior membership fee is £10 for under 8s and £25 for over 8s (on 1 Sep 2019). The membership fee provides you with full access to the courts for a whole year as well as access to the junior tournament. If your child participates in coaching later in the year they will not need to pay this again.

Booking will be available online before Easter on this page. Please check back soon.

This year we are also hoping to organise some friendly matches for juniors, both within the club and against other clubs, throughout the season. This includes events to take place on our club tournament days. We are also intending to offer coaching in the summer holidays, as well the autumn term. Watch this space!

Adult coaching

For team members there will be three coaching sessions with a focus on tactics, on Fridays 6-7.30pm 3rd May, 10th May and 17th May. Cost approximately £7.50 per session depending on numbers.

For social members wanting to improve their tennis and for those who are either fairly new to the game, or simply on a come-back trail after a gap, there will be three sessions on Fridays 6-7.30pm 24th May, 7th June and 14th June.

Details of how to book will be circulated nearer the time.

We will add more dates as the season progresses, depending on interest.
