Processing your personal information

Beechwood Lawn Tennis Club (BLTC) needs to hold data on members to manage the use of the facilities and to provide the benefits of membership. Under the General Data Protection Regulations we have a legitimate interest in holding your data. We take every care to keep your personal information safe. We use the ClubSpark database provided for LTA venues by Sportlabs Technology Ltd to hold members’ data to enable use of the electronic booking system and so that we can keep in touch with you. Sportlabs privacy policy can be found here: http://clubspark.co.uk/privacy-policy. We also currently use Clubsite.co for court bookings.

BLTC has entered into a partnership with Inspire 2 Coach (I2C) for the provision of coaching your basic data will be shared with I2C and they may contact you to inform you of coaching opportunities through courses or single clinics. Should you not want your data shared in this way you must advise the Membership Secretary.

Your data may also be shared with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) as BLTC is a member club and is required to supply certain information to the LTA. For members of the table tennis section your data will be shared with the Coventry Table tennis League and Table Tennis England as part of our affiliation to them.

Your data will be included in a database as mentioned above to allow for the booking of court time by members in accordance with the availability determined by the committee.

Limited data may also be shared with league and other competition organisers to enable the recording of results and compiling of statistics. By entering a competition or by accepting selection to play for a B:LTC team you are also consenting to your data being used in this manner.

BLTC will not share your data with any other parties unless required to do so by law your data will not be used to market any product or service to you other than our own facilities or events.

BLTC will not hold your data any longer than is necessary if you should cease to be a member your data will be deleted from our database 24 months after you do not renew your membership however you are entitled to request that your data is deleted from our database at any time after you cease to be a member of BLTC.

You are also entitled to request details of the data we hold and to request any corrections to be made to that data.
