Another great finals day with good tennis being played yesterday in good weather. Thank you to those who brought food and their support Thank you to club captain John and all the volunteers to make this event possible. From those on the tournament committee and to those who sacrificed their time the week before to ensure our courts are in tip-top condition. Well done to all the junior and senior players who entered and who made it to the finals.

Chas's junior art class
On Thursday, our multi talented and famous member Chas Jacobs hosted an art workshop in our clubhouse that was a huge hit with a group of budding young artists. The smiles on their faces say it all! We would like to say a big thank you to Chas for giving the children such a wonderful opportunity, and to all the helpers who made the event run smoothly. 🎨🖼️

Fylde Division 1 mens' champions!
Huge congratulations to our Men’s First Team who have successfully defended their 2023 Fylde Tennis League Division 1 crown by winning the title again in 2024! 🎉 The team has gone an incredible two full seasons undefeated across 24 ties, an amazing accomplishment in such a tough league. 🍔 Bowerham Social BBQ Evening 🍗 On Friday, our Men’s B Team Captain, John, hosted a fantastic BBQ and tennis social evening that was a hit with all our members! With plenty of volunteers pitching in with food and some stellar sets of tennis action, it was a memorable night for everyone involved. Open day 2024
Our first Open Day of 2024 was a huge success! ✅ Around 40 people visited throughout the day to test our facilities and try their hand at tennis. 👏 We thoroughly enjoyed welcoming everyone and hope to see plenty revisit over the summer. ☀️ Finally, we want to send out a huge thank you to all the volunteers at the club who gave up their time to help make it such a special day! 🎾🎾🎾

Championship tie-break tournament
Today, we held a fun tournament at the club, which saw 16 of our members play 70 (SEVENTY!) tie-breaks between them. The sun was out all day and there were plenty of spectators enjoying the tennis. Well done to all the participants and helpers who made it a memorable day. Well done to our member Liam with coming up with idea!
