Open day 2026

What a fantastic open day we had on Saturday! About 60 people came to try us out with more than 20 of our club members helping out! It did not rain either! Our coach Andrew led a very fun and special coaching session for all so thank you! It was our biggest open day in our history and we hope everyone had fun.

Our club will host our open day on Saturday April 1pm to 4pm. It is for adults and juniors of all abilities. Just come and drop in!

Tiebreak tournament

Thanks for those who participated in this novel and exciting tournament, which is a brainchild of our member Liam. Many tiebreaks played, everyone of the 16 participants won at least one tiebreak and big upsets were witnessed! Congratulations to overall winner Jordan.

CPR Awareness training session

As you guys know, since January this year, we have a brand new defibrillator for use at our club and for the nearby community. This defibrillator is also on the Circuit. Volunteers from NW air ambulance are now happy to run another training session on CPR Awareness TOMORROW on Tuesday 10MAR2026 at our clubhouse at 7:30pm so please just turn up and come to it if you live near our club and want to be trained on how to use our defibrillator.

Our brand new defibrillator

Just in case someone unfortunately find themselves in a cardiac arrest at our club or surrounding areas, we now have a defibrillator for use at the club and in the community! Thank you to North West Ambulances Alex Huntington and Karl Jones, our member Zarko, Eric Wright Charitable Trust and Tennis Lancashire for making this happen.
