A very successful American tournament was held on August Bank Holiday Monday when the enthusiasm was matched by the glorious weather.

Over 5 rounds players split up and moved round, so rarely playing with or against the same person twice, making it extremely sociable as well as competitive.

Our winning lady was Leah, with runner up Karine.

For the men, Scott won most games with Matty and Larry joint runner up.

A selection of delicious prizes was donated by Cherry Tree Preserves.
