This group is for juniors new to tennis or those with relatively little tennis to date. It covers LTA Youth Blue, Red and Orange stages. Introduction to tennis, getting to grips with timing, ball speed and bounce, and returning the ball. Through fun activities and games, kids will develop balance, agility, and hand-eye coordination and explore the basics of the sport. As the course progresses, they will continue to improve speed, coordination, and reaction time. Relaxed, friendly and mile competition will be introduced to help develop confidence and teamwork. Sportsmanship, some strategy and tactics will be introduced as appropriate to progress.
