Please note: when typing in your acces code please ensure you type the * before the numbers otherwise the code will not work. The code will only work for 10 minutes either side of your booking slot as well as during your booking slot so please do not attempt to access the court outside of your booking time.
Please be aware Culver Close Tennis Courts may need to closed at short notice between September 2024 – September 2025. If the outside temperature gets high enough, there is potential for damage to be done to the playing surface.
The 3 tennis courts at Culver Close are there for players of all ages and skill levels to practice, play and enjoy tennis in Bradford on Avon.
The town council doubled up with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) to improve and resurface the courts in 2024 as part of the LTA’s £30m Park Tennis Project.
The project is part of a nationwide investment by the UK Government and LTA Tennis Foundation, delivered by the LTA, to refurbish public tennis courts across the country. Find out more about the Park Tennis Project.
About Culver Close Tennis Courts
Located off Frome Road and Pound Lane, Culver Close is easy to get to from the town centre.
Culver Close is next to both Barton Farm Country Park and Victory Field, too. This means you’ll have a scenic backdrop for your game – and lots to do nearby afterwards.
There’s also a public toilet in the cricket pavilion a few minutes from the tennis courts.
Booking online is easy and gives you gate access to play for up to 1 hour per booking.
Whether you’re a beginner picking up a racket for the first time or a seasoned player looking for a great spot to improve your game, our newly improved courts are perfect for you.
You can choose to pay as you play for just £6 per hour – or opt for an annual household membership at £40 per year for more flexibility and savings.
The tennis courts at Culver Close are managed and looked after by Bradford on Avon Town Council.
So come and play your way on our courts in a space that’s for everyone.

If you and your family love playing tennis, you might find an annual Household Membership instead of paying as you play.
Our Household Memberships offer greater flexibility when booking court time and can offer significant savings throughout the year, depending on how often you play.
Household Memberships cost £40 a year and can book up to 2 hours worth of tennis per day, and a maximum of 14 hours per week.
