We are an established, friendly and welcoming pool of players with excellent facilities for you to enjoy.

The Croquet section has one full sized lawn which we can divide in half, meaning up to sixteen players can be on the lawns at any one time.  All equipment is provided for you, including a range of mallets in different lengths and weights.

There are a variety of different types of Croquet games.  We have Members who can teach you the basics of both Association Croquet and Golf Croquet.  This can be at Club afternoons or on a one to one basis to suit you.

A beginner can be taught the basics and be playing a game of Golf Croquet within twenty minutes of starting.  The game does not require any physical strength and appeals to all ages and levels of ability.

Club afternoons are on Tuesdays from 2pm to 5pm for Association Croquet and Mondays and Thursdays from 2pm to 5pm for Golf Croquet.  We always take a break for tea, coffee and biscuits during the Club sessions and you can come late or leave early to suit yourelf.  Members are able to arrange their own games and sessions with access to all equipment and the Clubhouse.

All of our Members have the opportunity to play competitively with other clubs.  We play friendlies against local teams and plaly in the West Midland Association and Golf Leagues.  We also have our own Club competitions.

Members are welcome to bring visitors to the Club at a cost of £5 for an adult and £1 for a child.   We also run taster afternoons for groups from local businesses, sports clubs, the WI, churches etc.  If you would like more information please contact Tony Johnston on 01544 340287.
