Club Open Day - Saturday 9th May 11am - 3pm

A warm welcome awaits anyone interested in learning to play croquet or tennis or pickleball.

For those new to croquet, please do come along at any time 11-3 and we will get you playing as soon as possible.

For tennis, we will be running fun sessions for juniors, coached sessions for adults (competition players, rusty rackets or people new to tennis), an introduction to pickleball, and for anyone regardless of whether or not they have ever held a tennis racket... cardio tennis. Please book into as many 30 minute taster sessions as you wish via the links on this page. Note that you will need to create a free LTA account in order to book a slot. All taster sessions are free. There will also be court time for families and friends to have a short knock about or try pickleball.

Refreshments will be available throughou the day - tea and cake in the croquet pavilion, BBQ and squash in the club house (a small fee will be asked for a delicious award winning burger and drink).

Note for club members - you are also welcome to book in to try pickleball or cardio tennis. Or just come along to be sociable!

Welcome to our tennis and croquet club - new members are always welcome

Eardisley Tennis and Croquet Club is located in the picturesque Wye valley village of Eardisley, in the north west of the county of Herefordshire. The village is part of the "Black and White Village Trail".

The tennis section boasts 3 all weather tennis courts (2 of which are floodlit and resurfaced with artificial carpet in September 2024); one mini court for junior players incorporating a practice wall; 2.5 croquet lawns and pavilion; and a modern clubhouse with two changing rooms, toilets and a kitchen.

The tennis section has a resident LTA qualified Level 4 tennis coach who runs a full coaching programme for both adults and juniors, including the very successful tennis camps for children. The croquet section is a thriving addition to the club's facilities with its own equipment hut, new pavilion and seating area.

The croquet section has two Croquet Association qualified coaches. Please see under the croquet tab for details.

The croquet section is a thriving addition to the club's facilities with its club members participating in the West Midlands Federation Leagues.

We are a very friendly group with players of all standards, from complete beginners to competition level. The emphasis is on enjoying the game at whatever level you wish to play it. We also run social events throughout the year.
