It's now halfway point in the Horam League and our first team remain unbeaten and are at the top of the leader board in division 2.

Our first match against Cross in Hand was rained off and the points were split. The next match against Horsted Keynes resulted in a draw as the ladies won, the men lost and the mixed was called off in the third set due to heavy rain and a fall from the opposing man. Then along came Wadhurst, when the ladies and mixed won, and the men lost a very close match, 6-4 in the final set, which could have gone either way. Last night's match at Maresfield resulted in another 2-1 win, with victory in the ladies and mixed, but our men came up against a very strong pairing and although they lost the actual match in straight sets, they won the following friendly set.

Thanks to the following players who have represented the first team so far this season: Sarah Keegan, Jane Hugo, Leesha Daniells, Joanna Chopping, Simon Hollingdale, James Saunders and Josh Cottingham.
