Club Chair Karsten Scholer was delighted to present the award of the 2024 Chair's Salver to Club Treasurer Tom Holland at the AGM on Thursday 18th January.
The award recognises Tom's sterling work in managing the club's finances over the last year with quiet efficiency and a keen attention to detail, giving excellent advice along the way. It is a key role within the committee and Tom's work has given the club the confidence to make sound decisions going forward.
There are many people who have made valuable contributions to the club and its continuing success, so it's always a difficult decision to take. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all members and volunteers who have given their time over the last 12 months in all aspects of running, maintaining, and supporting the club. It is very much appreciated.
