There is a huge range of playing opportunities for members wishing to play social or competitive tennis throughout the year. Here are just a few examples:

Social Tennis
We run club nights every Tuesday (advanced+) and Wednesday. (improver+). Members of all standards are welcome to come along to our mix-ins on Friday evening (7pm-9pm, summer only) and Sunday afternoon (2pm-5pm, year-round). There is a dedicated social mix-in running througout the year for beginners/improvers on Sundays 12noon-1pm.

League Tennis
We have several teams playing in local, regional and national leagues. To find out more, visit our Adult and Junior team pages.

Club Championships
Every year, we run internal club tournaments in Men's & Ladies' Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Visit the Honours Board for details of previous club champions.

Open Tournaments
Every year, the Archery hosts a series of Open Tournaments available to both members and non-members. The 2026 dates are:
Saturday 18th July: Ladies Open 
Saturday 25h July: Mixed Vets Open
Saturday 15th August: Mixed Open
Saturday 29th August: Men's Open

Singles and Doubles Box Leagues
Boxes of players/pairs grouped with other players of a similar ability to play competitive tennis.
