August is our most competitive month of tennis, with two competitions and a summer camp all packed into the summer month.

The Grade 3 GTC Open begins on the 8th of August, with over 150 entrants competiting over 29 events, including single's and double's competitions from the age of under 8's up to open age. The chance to enter the Open has unfortunately now closed, and the draw will be made on Thursday 4th August. However, the chance to come and watch some of the best tennis the GTC can offer is open to everyone, with the competition running until Saturday 13th August.

Later in the month, the GTC Club Competition starts on the 29th of August. The competition includes only GTC members, with members open to join and enter a maximum of four events - up to two singles and two doubles events. To enter the competition, please visit reception before 9pm on Monday 15th August, where you will be asked to fill out a form indicating the selected events you would like to enter.

After starting in July, our summer camp continues throughout August (with the exception of the week of the Grade 3 GTC Open). There are still 3 more weeks available for children to enjoy supervised activities, including tennis, with the camp running between 9:30am - 4pm on Monday-Thursday.
